Not all vending machines are created the same, and not every location needs the same set up. At AW Vending we believe the key to a successful vending program starts with choosing the right machines for the right space.
STEP 1: Understanding the Location’s Needs
Before placing machines, we like to take our time to learn about the business or facility.
· Who will be buying from the machines? (Employees, customers, visitors?)
· What’s the daily foot traffic like?
· Are there specific snacks or drink preferences?
Asking the right questions helps us understand that whatever machines we will pick are the right fit for the people that will be using it.
Step 2: Matching Machines Types to Space
Some locations need a combo machine that offers both snacks and drinks in one unit specially when it’s a smaller space with fewer employees.
Other locations require separate drink and snack machines to provide more variety and handle higher demand.
For high energy environments like warehouses, we may add specialized drink machines compatible for energy drinks, Gatorades, and sodas to keep employees hydrated and alert.
Step 3: Stocking Based on Demand
The right machine is only as good as what’s inside it. We analyze what sells best in similar locations and adjust the product mix to make sure customers find their favorites-and come back for more.
Step 4: Planning for Maintenance & Accessibility
We also consider the ease of restocking and servicing the machines. Choosing models that are reliable, easy to maintain, and accessible for repairs means fewer problems and more consistent service for our clients.
Why This Matters
Placing the wrong type of vending machine can lead to slow sales, wasted space, and unhappy customers. By customizing each placement, we make sure our machines benefit both the business and the people using them.
If you’re thinking about adding vending machines to your workplace, let’s talk-we’ll help you find the perfect fit!
